Professor from Queen University, Belfast Visit to Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Community

FK-KMK UGM. Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Community Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing UGM presenting professor from Queen University, Belfast, Prof. Christine Brown Wilson along with Gary Mitchell team (senior lecturer in Queen University, Belfast), and Melvin Bell (Focus Game director) during 14 – 21 July 2022.

Main activities of the guest professors are, first sharing knowledge through “Co-Design – Principles and Practice” as seminar topic  that discuss co-design as one of research methodology in UK and European Union area, Monday (18/7) at FK-KMK UGM Auditorium. Second, Co-Design Dementia Awareness Game workshop titled “Dari Kita Untuk Kita” as an effort to develop Game Demensia for Indonesian, Tuesday-Thursday (19-21/7) at Tahir Foundation Postgraduate Building, FK-KMK UGM.

Seminar titled “Co-Design – Principles and Practice” discuss co-design operation with various models, co-design game development for dementia game and kids dementia game, and Indonesian Dementia Game launching. Followed by co-design in curriculum and using games for social changes.

Dementia or known as severe senile cause another diseases. Even more, there is no cure for dementia yet. However, dementia can be slowed down if it is handled from the start.
