TUFH – International Student Training and Exchange Program (iSTEP) 2021-2022

The Network: Towards Unity For Health (TUFH) invites students majoring in health professions (i.e., medicine, nursing, midwifery, public health, nutritional health, social worker, and others) to join TUFH International Student Training and Exchange Program (iSTEP) for 2021-2022. Participants will experience fun and enriching online collaborative activities with interprofessional students from countries around the globe. This program consists of 3 courses, there are:

The details of the program:

  1. Open for undergraduate students of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Nutrition.
  2. The program will be conducted online.
  3. The participants must be joined in 3 courses to get 3 CSU. The courses are:

    • Modern and Adaptive Cities: Improving Wellness through the Urban Environment
    • Communication for Better Wellness of Individuals and Communities
    • Social Determinants of Health: Working Together for Better Health
  4. Each participants will be allocated to an interprofessional, multi-nationality group facilitated by a facilitator.
  5. The program will commence on October, 2021 (Introduction session) and ends on May 2022.
  6. The expected learning time commitment is 16 hours for each course.
  7. There will be 6 assignments for each course, it could be an essay, report or community visits.

  4. Proof of English language proficiency, i.e., TOEFL, IELTS, AcEPT or other equivalent test results.
