How to apply
General Information
- The scholarship is dedicated for overseas students of Master and Doctoral Degree;
- Priority will be given to students from Asian region and have not received any scholarships from other institutions/agencies/sponsors (candidates from other region may still apply);
- Accepted as a postgraduate student of regular class;
- Awardee must have a health insurance;
- Scholarships are awarded at the beginning of each semester during the normal study period according to the regulations at Universitas Gadjah Mada (4 semester for the Master Degree and 8 semesters for Doctoral Degree);
- Every semester, an academic evaluation will be carried out by the Study Program, to decide the continuation of the scholarship in the following semester as indicated by the recommendation from the Head of the Study Program;
- At the end of the first year, awardees must pass the academic evaluation with the following requirement: have taken a minimum of 15 credits with GPA >3.00;
- Awardees are not permitted to apply for academic leave and/or academic withdrawal.
Scholarship Scheme
A. Full Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded from the beginning until the end of the study period, with maximum of 4 semesters for Masters and 8 semesters for Doctoral degree.
The Full Scholarship components are as follows:

If the awardee is returning to his country, the scholarship will only be considered according to the percentage of his presence in Indonesia. |

B. On Going
Scholarships are awarded for overseas students registered as students at Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, UGM. The scholarship may be proposed in semester 1 or maximum in the 2nd semester for Master students and in the 3rd semester for Doctoral students.
The scholarship is valid since the date of the approval until the end of the normal study period.

Eligibilities
A. ELIGIBILITY FOR MASTER PROGRAM
B. ELIGIBILITY FOR DOCTORAL PROGRAM
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent;
- Have good English proficiency with a minimum TOEFL score of 450 or equivalent;
- Declared healthy, as evidenced by a health certificate from a doctor;
- Complete all required documents;
- Has a Bachelor’s educational background that meet the requirements from Study Programs as following:

- Master degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Has a good English proficiency with a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent;
- Complete all required documents;
- Has a Master educational background in the field of Medicine and Human Health.
