Introduction to Nutrition Problems in Indonesia |

Overview:
This elective course is specifically designated for International students to be exposed to various nutrition problems in Indonesia. Students will be doing field visits to primary health center, hospitals and other health facilities related to malnutrition problems. In addition, the students will be doing cultural excursions exposing to Indonesian and Yogyakarta-specific food culture as well as Javanese culture. In each week, it will be split between field visits and in-class lectures. The in-class lectures will be exposing the students to nutrition research that our faculty members have done. During the duration of the program, it is expected that each student will have a project of interest related to what they have seen or learned from the lectures. At the end this project will be presented in front of their peers in Indonesia. |
